How to Make a PMV

There are two ways to make a PMV in 2026: the classic manual edit, and the automatic way.

// The manual way (hours)

1. Map the beats of a track by ear or with a BPM tool.
2. Trim dozens of clips into short fragments.
3. Place every cut on a beat marker in Premiere / Vegas.
4. Build intensity: slow cuts in verses, fast cuts and splitscreens on drops.
5. Render, fix missed beats, render again.

// The automatic way (minutes)

1. Open the PMV.GG bot in Telegram.
2. Send your track — the analyzer measures the exact BPM, every beat, buildup and drop.
3. Send clips and pictures (batch or zip, up to 2 GB per file).
4. Pick settings: aspect, quality, splitscreen, cut tempo.
5. Get a finished PMV — every cut on the beat, splitscreens on the drops.

// Tips

• Tracks with clear structure work best: EDM, phonk, hardstyle.
• More clips = better variety: 30–120 short clips beat 5 long ones.
• Mix horizontal and vertical clips — vertical go to splitscreens, horizontal to full frame.
